HAPPY NEW YEAR

I want to wish everyone a healthy, happy, safe & prosperous New Year!

We are certainly going into the new year with plenty of changes in our house! My husband Scott has a new job which has us up between 4:00 & 4:45 in the morning every morning. It has been an adjustment to get up that early & to try to get my body accustomed to going to bed earlier. I am currently trying to rearrange my schedule to get more "creative" time. Am making extra time in the morning and am trying to leave the dishwasher full and picking up the house until after I am home from work.

Another new thing is that our son, Scott, has moved back in with us and is currently making an apartment in our basement. He has our grandson Preston with him every weekend. It was really wonderful having Preston in the house for Christmas! He has been keeping Grandma running & our living room was a huge mess with all the wrapping paper & gifts!

I am in the process of getting my show schedule together for 2008. I am planning on doing the Spring & Fall Schaumburg shows this year. I have also been accepted for TBAI in New York. I am really excited about this show because it is a juried show and they only accept 55 artists in it every year. Most of the artists who do it are repeat artists and they only accept a limited few new artists every year so I feel really privileged that they have accepted me! I will keep you posted as my schedule fills out the rest of the way.
